V. Precautions
- This module must be used in conjunction with Bently Nevada 3500 series racks and supporting monitoring modules and cannot operate independently. Verify rack compatibility and interface matching with the 3500/20 sub-series before installation to avoid communication failures.
Distinguish strictly between communication ports (RS232/RS422) and I/O terminals during wiring. Complete external connection in accordance with standard specifications to prevent module damage or signal abnormality caused by incorrect wiring. Ensure terminal tightness against vibration-induced loosening.
- Configure baud rate and other communication parameters in accordance with external device protocols. Validate all settings after configuration to ensure smooth, lossless data transmission and prevent communication failure due to parameter mismatch.
- Keep the operating temperature within -40℃ ~ +85℃. Keep away from high-temperature heat sources, frequency converters and high-voltage equipment to reduce electromagnetic interference and avoid performance drift or component damage.
Regularly check terminal tightness and module cleanliness. Power off before dust cleaning to prevent insulation degradation and poor contact. Avoid contact with corrosive substances to protect internal circuits and interfaces.
- Unauthorized disassembly or modification of internal circuits is prohibited. All malfunctions shall be inspected and repaired by professional industrial control technicians or Bently Nevada certified engineers to prevent fault escalation.
- For long-term storage, place the module in a dry, dust-free and normal-temperature environment. Inspect communication and I/O functions before re-installation after long-term idle storage.
- Periodically monitor real-time data transmission quality during operation. Promptly troubleshoot wiring, parameter settings and external devices in case of data packet loss or communication interruption to maintain stable module performance.
