IV. Working Principle


After power-on self-test, the PLC automatically identifies the module slot address and allocates the corresponding I/O logic address. The CPU sends switching commands to the module through the backplane bus, and the internal relay is pulled in or disconnected according to the command to control the on-off of the field load circuit, with the corresponding LED indicator lighting to feedback the output state. Each group of circuits is electrically isolated, and only the faulty group will be affected when overload or short-circuit occurs. The module uploads fault information to the PLC in real time, and the replacement module can automatically resume control after hardware identification without re-addressing programming.
