4. Operating Principle
The GE VME7865RC SBC operates based on dual-core real-time computing, VME high-speed bus scheduling, passive stable heat dissipation and full hardware self-diagnosis. After power-on, it automatically completes hardware self-check, memory and storage initialization, bus protocol matching and peripheral enumeration to finish system startup and configuration loading.
During operation, the Intel Core Duo dual-core processor executes industrial control logic operation, data analysis and equipment scheduling algorithms in real time. It interacts with rack-mounted I/O and communication modules through VME320 bus, collects field operating data, issues control commands and synchronizes system parameters. Meanwhile, it realizes data intercommunication with upper monitoring systems and field devices via on-board network and serial ports to complete automatic measurement, control and remote maintenance.
