IV. Working Principle


The module receives power and bus connection through the backplane bus of the VME rack. After power-on, it automatically completes hardware self-test, chip initialization, bus protocol matching and system program loading to activate core computing and task scheduling functions. As the core main control unit of the entire VME industrial control system, it runs industrial control system programs, logic control programs and data processing programs via the Pentium III core processor. It controls all downstream I/O, communication, acquisition and motion control sub-modules through the VME bus, collects real-time data and peripheral status signals from field equipment, and completes logic operation, data analysis and instruction judgment.
After computation, control instructions are sent downstream via the VME bus to drive each sub-module to execute equipment regulation, data exchange and status feedback.
