4. Operating Principle
The GE SLN080 IC086SLN080-A industrial switch operates based on Layer2 store-and-forward data transmission, adaptive link matching and port fault isolation. After DC24V power-on, it completes initialization automatically, including port detection, rate negotiation and link activation without manual configuration.
During operation, the switch adopts store-and-forward mechanism to verify, filter and forward Ethernet data frames, realizing real-time data interaction and instruction transmission between PLC, HMI, IO modules and host computers. The auto MDI/MDIX function adapts to various network cable wiring modes to avoid communication failure caused by non-standard wiring.
