ABB 086318-002 and 086318-501 are static random-access memory expansion boards for ABB legacy industrial controllers. In addition, the 086318-501 serves as the upgraded variant of 086318-002. This board carries an on-board backup battery, so it can preserve stored configuration and process data when the main power supply cuts off. It connects to the main CPU backplane directly, and it expands the system memory capacity for complex control logic and recipe storage.
