III. Technical Features
- Wide-Range High-Voltage AC Input: Supports 175~264VAC industrial high-voltage power supply, applicable to most global industrial power environments. It directly supplies stable power to 3500 racks without additional voltage conversion devices, and adapts to 47~63Hz power frequency to meet grid frequency differences in various regions.
Industrial-Grade Power Protection: Built-in overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, surge suppression and short-circuit protection circuits. It monitors input and output voltage and current in real time, automatically cuts off power and triggers fault signals under abnormal conditions, and protects high-precision monitoring modules from grid anomalies and damage.
- High-Efficiency Isolation & Voltage Regulation Design: Equipped with high-frequency isolation transformers and voltage stabilizing circuits to achieve complete electrical isolation between input and output. It effectively blocks conducted electromagnetic interference and delivers ripple-free stable power, ensuring accurate measurement for vibration monitoring and signal acquisition modules.
Compact & Easy Integration: The half-height single-slot design is compatible with full-size (14-slot) and compact (7-slot) 3500 racks to save cabinet space. Hot-swap supported, allowing module replacement without shutdown, reducing maintenance risks, shortening unplanned downtime and realizing rapid integration into existing 3500 systems.
- High-Reliability Industrial Structure: Constructed with reinforced PCB and metal housing, it delivers outstanding vibration, impact and EMC resistance. It operates stably within a wide temperature range of -20℃~+60℃, adapts to high temperature, high humidity, dusty and other harsh working conditions, and features long MTBF for long-term continuous system operation.
- Real-Time Power Monitoring: Integrated power monitoring circuits upload power status data via the rack backplane. The 3500 configuration software realizes real-time operating status monitoring, enabling rapid abnormality locating, convenient troubleshooting and reduced equipment outage time.
IV. Application Scenarios
1. Power Industry
Widely deployed in 3500 system racks of thermal power, gas power and hydropower plants. It provides stable power for vibration monitoring and shaft displacement protection modules of steam turbines, generators, boiler feed pumps and other rotating equipment, ensuring continuous operation of unit condition monitoring systems and stable power production.
2. Oil & Gas Industry
Applied to 3500 monitoring systems of large compressors, turbines, drilling rigs and other equipment in oil and gas exploitation and transmission. It supplies reliable power under high-temperature, high-pressure and dusty conditions, guarantees normal functions of vibration/displacement monitoring and anti-surge protection, and prevents equipment damage and production interruption.
3. Petrochemical Industry
Used for rack power supply of 3500 monitoring systems in chemical plants for reactor agitator shafts, large fans, screw compressors and other core equipment. It meets strict power stability requirements of continuous chemical production, stabilizes vibration severity, shaft displacement monitoring and early warning functions, and reduces unplanned shutdown risks.
4. Metallurgy & General Industry
V. Precautions
- This module must be matched with Bently Nevada 3500 series racks and cannot operate independently. Confirm rack slot compatibility before installation; the input voltage must strictly comply with 175~264VAC to prevent permanent module damage.
Distinguish between high-voltage AC input terminals and backplane connection terminals during wiring. High-voltage wiring shall comply with industrial high-voltage specifications, and all terminals shall be fully tightened to avoid loose connection and potential safety hazards caused by mechanical vibration.
- Keep the operating temperature within -20℃~+60℃. Stay away from intense heat sources, frequency converters and high-voltage equipment to prevent unstable power output and service life degradation caused by high temperature or strong electromagnetic interference.
Hot-swap is supported. Confirm that the system permits hot replacement before plugging or unplugging to avoid backplane bus impact. Verify normal power status via 3500 configuration software after module replacement.
- Regularly check terminal tightness and module cleanliness. Perform dust cleaning only after complete power-off to prevent insulation degradation and poor contact. Avoid contact with corrosive substances to protect the metal housing and internal circuits.
- Unauthorized disassembly or modification of internal circuits is prohibited. All faults must be inspected and repaired by Bently Nevada certified technicians. For long-term storage, place the module in a dry, dust-free and normal-temperature environment to prevent component damage from moisture, dust and extreme temperatures.
- The actual load power shall match the rated consumption of the 3500 rack to avoid overload operation. Regularly calibrate output voltage stability to supply pure and consistent power for internal modules, and ensure overall system measurement accuracy and operational reliability.
