5. Notes


This module is only compatible with CENTUM VP/VX and ProSafe-RS systems. It cannot be used with other series of PLC/DCS, and mismatched devices will fail to be recognized and communicate.
Use 24 V DC ±20% external power supply strictly. Reversed polarity will damage the input circuit.
Install or remove the module only when power is cut off. Hot swapping may cause backplane bus failure, module burnout or false interlock actions.
Use shielded twisted pair cables for wiring, and keep cables away from power cables and inverters to prevent signal fluctuation caused by electromagnetic interference.
Do not connect high voltage or active signals to dry contacts, otherwise permanent damage to channels will occur.
For redundant configuration, use modules with the same model and firmware version. Version mismatch will lead to synchronization errors and interlock disturbance.
Keep the operating temperature within -20℃ ~ +60℃. Long-term over-temperature operation will accelerate component aging and reduce isolation withstand voltage and reliability.
Clean gold fingers and terminals regularly. Dust and oxidation will cause poor contact and intermittent signal loss.
