4. Operating Principle
The VMIVME-7740-850 single-board computer operates based on PowerPC real-time computing, VME64x high-speed bus scheduling, hardware fault self-recovery and power-down data protection. After power-on, it completes full hardware self-check, chip initialization, bus protocol matching and system boot loading automatically to enter real-time main control state.
During operation, the 850MHz MPC7448 processor executes control logic, data acquisition and multi-task scheduling programs efficiently. The Tundra Universe II bus interface realizes high-speed data interaction of VME64x bus. The 4-level bus arbitration and dual-port DRAM sharing mechanism ensure conflict-free and low-latency collaborative operation of rack-mounted I/O and communication modules.
