3. Working Principle
As the core rack of VM600 system, Vibro-meter VM600-ABE040 204-040-100-011 functions as the hardware carrier and connection hub of the system. Following the closed-loop workflow of power distribution → module bearing → signal transmission → status monitoring, it provides installation support, power supply and signal interaction channels for all functional modules, connects internal modules with external equipment, and guarantees coordinated and stable operation of the entire VM600 system.
Power Distribution Phase: The rack connects external power via RPS6U power modules. After voltage stabilization and filtering, power is evenly distributed to all internal functional modules through the built-in power distribution system. Under redundant power configuration, two RPS6U modules work in tandem. Once one module fails, the other will switch to full-load operation automatically. Meanwhile, the rear power-off relay outputs alarm signals to remind on-site staff and ensure uninterrupted power supply.
Module Bearing & Connection Phase: The rack holds various functional modules via 15 slots. All modules are installed at designated positions and electrically connected through VME backplane bus. Vacant slots are sealed with blank panels to keep internal tightness, prevent dust intrusion and maintain complete hardware architecture.
Signal Transmission Phase: Serving as the signal interaction hub, the rack realizes data exchange via VME bus. IOC4T transmits original sensor signals to MPC4 cards for processing; MPC4 sends processed key parameters and alarm signals to CPUM; control commands issued by CPUM are delivered to IOC4T to realize external equipment linkage control. The bus supports synchronous multi-type signal transmission to ensure real-time, accurate signal delivery and reduce signal loss and interference.
- Status Monitoring & Protection Phase: The internal electrical isolation design avoids cross-module interference and cooperates with functional modules to realize overall system status monitoring. In case of power failure, module fault or abnormal signal transmission, the rack power-off relay and module alarm functions will be triggered synchronously, and alarm information will be sent to CPUM for fault troubleshooting. The aluminum structure and anti-interference design protect internal units and ensure stable system operation in harsh industrial environments.
