IV. Working Principle


After VME backplane power-on and hardware self-test, the board converts 600VAC high voltage into regulated 24VDC control power. It receives phase commands from the Mark V main controller, outputs isolated SCR trigger pulses to adjust excitation voltage, meanwhile samples excitation and armature electrical parameters for closed-loop regulation, and drives high-voltage contactors according to interlock logic. Once overvoltage, overcurrent or trigger fault is detected, all SCR pulses are blocked immediately with fault status latched and uploaded to the monitoring system; normal operation can only be restored via power cycle reset after troubleshooting.
