The Triconex 5351 main processor adopts TMR triple modular redundancy fault-tolerant principle. Integrated with three independent computing, data acquisition and logic judgment units, the module synchronously collects full-station I/O process data and executes parallel independent logic operations to generate three groups of operation results.


The hardware real-time 2-out-of-3 voting mechanism verifies and screens valid logic instructions to drive output modules to execute interlock actions, equipment startup/shutdown and emergency shutdown control. When one or two circuits fail abnormally, the system automatically isolates faulty units and maintains complete logic operation through healthy circuits to avoid interlock refusal or misoperation.
