IV. Working Principle


After 24VDC power-on, the module completes self-test of power supply, backplane bus and all input channels, then waits for configuration parameters from the main controller. Field switch signals are filtered and opto-isolated before being collected by register circuits; hardware interrupt captures level transitions and uploads event tags via polling or active interrupt mode. Once overvoltage, reverse polarity or short-circuit faults occur, the faulty channel is locked with fault status uploaded remotely, and function can be restored by remote reset after troubleshooting.
