Description
I. Product Overview
Bently Nevada 1900/65A (Part No.172323-01) is an 8-channel general-purpose rotating machinery condition monitor for balance-of-plant auxiliary equipment. It integrates vibration, displacement, speed and temperature measurement, with 4 dynamic sensor inputs and 4 temperature inputs compatible with proximity, velocity, acceleration, RTD and thermocouple sensors. Equipped with 6 programmable relay outputs, 4-channel 4-20mA transmission and Modbus RTU communication, it supports local LCD configuration and 200 timestamped event records, certified with CE and SIL2. With both panel and DIN rail mounting options, it is widely applied for auxiliary machine safety protection, predictive maintenance and legacy instrument upgrading in power, petrochemical and metallurgical industries.
II. Hardware Structure and Composition
1. 24-bit High-precision Signal Acquisition Unit
24-bit ADC ensures high measurement accuracy; 4 dynamic channels are configurable for vibration, thrust position and rotating speed; 4 temperature channels support J/K/E/T thermocouples and 2/3-wire RTDs. Built-in hardware filters eliminate industrial electromagnetic interference to avoid false alarms caused by signal noise.
2. Local HMI & Data Storage Unit
Front LCD and operation buttons support on-site real-time data checking, parameter configuration and peak value lock. The built-in memory stores up to 200 time-stamped alarm, parameter modification and sensor fault records for equipment failure traceability without upper monitoring system.
3. Multi-channel Output Interlock Unit
6 SPDT programmable relays support Alert/Danger fault interlock with 250VAC/2A contact rating; 4 isolated 4-20mA analog outputs transmit measured data to DCS/PLC; each dynamic channel reserves buffered signal output for field waveform calibration via portable analyzers.
4. Industrial Communication Unit
RS485 Modbus RTU interface realizes multi-device bus networking, enabling remote parameter configuration, firmware upgrade and historical log export, supporting centralized monitoring of auxiliary equipment in factory automation systems.
5. Isolated Power & Industrial Protected Mounting Unit
18~36VDC wide-range DC power supply with multi-level surge and reverse connection protection. The metal shield housing with three-proof coated PCB adopts IP65 front panel protection, supporting panel embedded and DIN rail installation for harsh industrial cabinet environments.

IV. Product Functions and Features
1. 8-channel Multi-parameter Integrated Monitoring Reduces On-site Retrofit Cost
One single monitor covers vibration, displacement, speed and temperature measurement, flexible channel configuration adapts to different auxiliary equipment measuring points, simplifying cabinet wiring and reducing hardware investment for multi-point condition monitoring projects.
2. Dual-threshold Alarm & Sensor Self-diagnosis Ensures Equipment Safety
Independent Alert and Danger threshold setting for each channel, flexible relay logic configuration for pre-warning and emergency shutdown interlock. Real-time sensor open/short fault detection prevents protection failure caused by measuring loop abnormality.
3. Dual Local & Remote Operation Modes Meet O&M Requirements
On-site parameter setting and fault query via local buttons; remote centralized data collection, batch configuration and fault uploading via Modbus bus, balancing field maintenance convenience and intelligent plant management.
4. Time-stamped Event Recording Supports Predictive Maintenance
Historical alarm and operation records realize equipment degradation trend analysis, helping shift maintenance mode from breakdown repair to regular predictive inspection and reduce unplanned downtime risks.
5. Dual Mounting & Rugged Industrial Design Facilitates Equipment Replacement
Compatible with two mainstream installation methods for direct legacy instrument retrofit; fanless passive heat dissipation and wide-temperature three-proof design guarantee long-term stable unattended operation in harsh industrial environments.
V. Application Scenarios
- Vibration and temperature safety interlock monitoring for thermal, gas and hydropower plant auxiliary fans and water pumps.
- Condition monitoring and emergency shutdown interlock transformation for compressors and circulating pumps in petrochemical and coal chemical plants.
