4. Operating Principle
After power-on, the Emerson 5X00106G01 completes hardware initialization, backplane bus handshake, circuit self-test and communication verification, and enters normal acquisition mode after passing inspection. The module real-timely collects 4–20mA analog current signals from field HART intelligent transmitters, converts continuous analog quantities into digital quantities via high-precision AD conversion circuits, and uploads calibrated and filtered digital data to the Ovation DCS main controller to realize real-time monitoring of temperature, pressure, flow, liquid level and other process parameters.
While collecting analog signals, the module establishes bidirectional communication with field intelligent instruments via superimposed HART digital carriers. It synchronously reads instrument model, factory range, real-time working condition, internal temperature, fault alarm code and firmware status, and uploads data to DCS and AMS platforms for online status monitoring, remote calibration and early fault warning of field instruments.
