4. Operating Principle


The GE ESM10A module follows a complete workflow: Field Signal Acquisition → Hardware Filtering & Sampling → Dual-Core Logic Operation → Control Command Output → Data Communication Upload → Closed-Loop Fault Self-Diagnosis.

After power-on initialization, the module automatically completes hardware self-test, channel calibration and communication network matching, and synchronously collects raw analog and digital field signals via multi-channel I/O.


Collected raw signals are filtered, conditioned and calibrated before being transmitted to the ARM main controller. Based on predefined process programs, PID parameters and interlock logic, it executes high-speed data computation, logic judgment and closed-loop regulation calculation. Accurate control signals are generated to drive field actuators to realize automatic regulation of process variables such as temperature, pressure and flow, as well as safety interlock protection of equipment.


During operation, the module exchanges real-time data with upper systems and main control devices via serial bus, uploading operating status and fault information and receiving remote control commands. Continuous hardware, channel and communication self-inspection runs throughout operation. Alarms and fault tolerance protection are triggered immediately upon abnormality to prevent fault propagation and guarantee stable and reliable operation of local control systems.
