I. Overview


Schneider 140MSB10100 is a high-performance single-axis motion control module. It is positioned as a single-axis servo/stepper motor control unit, capable of controlling 1 physical axis and 1 synchronous remote axis simultaneously, and is specially designed for industrial high-precision motion control applications.

The core function of the module is to execute complex motion commands, realizing point-to-point positioning, linear/circular interpolation, electronic gear and electronic cam motion control. It is compatible with servo drives and incremental encoders, providing precise position, speed and torque control capabilities for automated equipment.


Adopting a high-speed closed-loop control architecture, the position loop update cycle is only 1ms, and the speed loop update cycle is 0.5ms. It is equipped with 250μs high-speed position capture capability, with a positioning range up to 4,294,967,296 pulses, ensuring high-speed dynamic response and micron-level control accuracy.
The module has built-in storage for 650 motion instructions and supports 28 trajectory programs. It integrates ±10V bipolar analog output, 5V differential encoder interface and multi-channel digital I/O, compatible with mainstream servo systems and industrial sensors.
With industrial-grade reinforced design, excellent wide-temperature adaptability and vibration resistance, it must be used together with Modicon Quantum series PLC CPU and standard backplane.
