IV. Working Principle


The main control unit sends switching commands via optical fiber to the built-in drive board of the module. The drive circuit outputs gate voltage to turn on the IGCT for power energy conversion, and the RC absorption loop restrains transient overvoltage. The drive unit monitors the operating state of the power device in real time; once overcurrent, overheating or short-circuit fault occurs, the gate signal is immediately blocked, and the fault code is uploaded to the main controller via optical fiber to trigger equipment safety shutdown. The copper base continuously conducts switching loss heat to keep the device junction temperature within the safe range, and ultra-precise switching timing ensures reliable operation of high-voltage series topology.
