3. Working Principle


Data Acquisition: Current transformers and voltage transformers collect three-phase current and voltage signals, which are converted into digital signals via high-precision AD module.Protection Calculation: The device runs overcurrent, earth fault, differential and other protection algorithms in real time. It compares measured values with setting values and trips the circuit breaker rapidly within typical 20ms once faults are detected.Control Logic: Receives local and remote commands to realize circuit breaker switching, disconnector control and automatic reclosing.Communication Interaction: Uploads measured data, operating status, event logs and fault records via IEC 61850 and Modbus protocols, and receives protection settings and control commands.Fault Analysis: Activates fault recording and stores event sequences when faults happen, supporting playback and fault cause analysis.
