IV. Working Principle


  1. Power-on Self-test: After 24VDC energization, the module runs self-inspection over power circuit, A/D chips and bus transceiver circuits and loads pre-programmed onboard communication firmware.
  2. Signal Acquisition: Field 4~20mA or voltage analog signals enter via terminals, filtered and level-converted before being fed into A/D converters for digital conversion.
  3. Data Packaging: Converted digital process values are encapsulated per ECS protocol and cyclically uploaded to rack master unit via backplane bus.
  4. Command Distribution: Receives setpoint parameters and loop control commands from master and outputs corresponding signals to field actuators via terminal blocks.
  5. Fault Handling: Faulty channel is automatically isolated upon abnormality while remaining channels operate independently; related fault alarms are uploaded synchronously.
