3. Working Principle
As the signal transfer station and control actuator of VM600 system, the I/O unit composed of Vibro-meter 200-560-000-114, 200-560-101-018 and IOC4T connects sensors, MPC4 protection cards, CPUM control modules and external equipment through a closed-loop workflow of signal input → signal transmission → command reception → execution & output, realizing bidirectional monitoring signal transmission and accurate control command execution.
Signal Input Phase: Via 48 screw terminals, IOC4T cards connect original monitoring signals collected by accelerometers, velocity sensors, displacement sensors, speed sensors and other transducers, as well as transmission signals from sensors and signal conditioners in measurement loops. After built-in noise filtering, purified original signals are transmitted to matched MPC4 machinery protection cards for analysis.
Signal Transmission Phase: Serving as the signal bridge between MPC4 cards, external devices and CPUM modules, IOC4T steadily sends filtered original signals to MPC4 for data processing. Meanwhile, it receives processed key parameters including vibration amplitude, phase, rotating speed as well as fault alarm signals, and synchronously transmits all data to CPUM for comprehensive analysis and command issuing.
Command Reception & Execution Phase: IOC4T receives control commands issued by CPUM and executes corresponding control actions combining alarm signals from MPC4 via built-in relays and open-collector outputs. When monitored values exceed preset thresholds or equipment faults are detected, relays output alarm signals, and 0-10V / 4-20mA analog signals drive external devices such as audible-visual alarms and trip interlocks to stop fault escalation. In addition, programmable open-collector outputs can be connected with IRC4 and RLC16 relay cards to expand alarm paths and realize multi-device linkage control.
- Status Feedback Phase: While executing control tasks, IOC4T collects real-time self-operating data such as signal transmission status and relay working status, as well as linkage feedback signals from external equipment, and uploads all information to CPUM. Operators can remotely monitor card operating conditions and timely troubleshoot module failures and wiring anomalies to guarantee normal system signal interaction and control functions.
