IV. Working Principle


After power-on self-test, the communicator loads the EDDL driver library, selects HART or FF protocol, and establishes galvanically isolated data communication with field instruments via test leads. It realizes two-way parameter reading and writing, meanwhile the high-precision sampling circuit measures loop current for fault diagnosis and valve calibration.
All configuration and calibration records are stored in local flash memory, which can be uploaded to upper asset management system via USB or Wi-Fi. The built-in Li-ion battery provides stable DC power with low-battery reminder to prevent accidental parameter loss. Intrinsic safety hardware limits output energy to avoid electric spark ignition in hazardous explosive environments.
