IV. Working Principle


  1. Power-on Self-test: Upon AC220V energization, the board checks onboard power supply, pulse drive chips and output circuits, and completes bus handshake with PPD master board.
  2. Command Reception: Phase-shift setpoint signals from the excitation regulator are received via cabinet backplane bus.
  3. Pulse Generation: Six phase-adjustable synchronized firing pulses are generated per setpoint, isolated and amplified before being sent to gate terminals of power cubicle SCRs.
  4. Rectification & Voltage Regulation: SCRs turn on at controlled firing angles to adjust DC excitation voltage and stabilize generator rotor excitation current via closed-loop control.
  5. Fault Reporting: Output pulse of faulty channel is cut off immediately once malfunction occurs, with fault location data uploaded to master controller synchronously.
