Honeywell CC-PUIO31 is the core flexible universal I/O module of Experion C300 DCS system. It is embedded installed in the standard system I/O rack. After connecting to the backplane bus and system power supply, it automatically completes hardware self-test, channel initialization, communication handshake, parameter verification and configuration loading upon power-on, and enters the full-channel real-time I/O acquisition and control operation state after normal initialization.


During normal system operation, the module performs differentiated signal adaptation for 32 channels according to channel configuration parameters preset by upper Experion software, matching different signal types such as analog, digital and pulse signals respectively. Each channel independently collects real-time working condition signals of on-site sensors, actuators and switch equipment.
