Description
1. Product Introduction
Bently Nevada 330103-00-04-10-02-00 is an 8mm short-body eddy-current displacement sensor probe of the Baker Hughes Bently Nevada 3300 XL series. Complying strictly with the API 670 international standard for rotating machinery monitoring, it serves as original core sensing hardware for condition monitoring systems of large rotating equipment under compact installation conditions.
This model is a compact standard-mounted probe featuring non-armored structure, 4-inch short housing, 1.0-meter original shielded cable, standard ClickLoc connector and M12×1 metric thread. It is specially designed for unit measuring points with limited installation space and housing interference constraints, effectively solving the poor adaptability of conventional long-body probes in compact scenarios. When matched with 3300 XL series proximitors, it forms a complete eddy-current monitoring system widely applied to sleeve-bearing rotating equipment such as steam turbines, gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, large fans and industrial pump units. It supports long-term online monitoring of key rotor dynamic parameters including radial shaft vibration, axial shaft displacement, rotor eccentricity, key-phase speed and unit thermal expansion difference.
2. Functions and Working Principle
Core Functions: This compact short-body eddy-current probe is mainly used for high-precision acquisition of dynamic and static parameters of large metal rotating shafts in confined installation spaces. It covers five core monitoring functions: rotor radial vibration amplitude, axial displacement wandering, rotor eccentricity detection, key-phase speed signal pickup, and unit thermal expansion difference monitoring. Benefiting from the 4-inch short-body compact structure, it adapts to compact measuring points, narrow installation interlayers and integrated monitoring modules that cannot accommodate conventional long-body probes.
The probe captures micron-level tiny runout, axial offset and dynamic deformation of rotors in real time, and linearly converts mechanical gap displacement into standard analog voltage signals for stable transmission to proximitors and back-end monitoring systems. It provides high-precision original data for unit vibration trend analysis, early fault prediction, rotor-stator rubbing hazard inspection and shaft displacement over-limit interlock protection, effectively avoiding equipment safety risks such as shaft wear, abnormal unit vibration and unplanned shutdowns.
Working Principle: The supporting 3300 XL proximitor supplies high-frequency alternating excitation current to the built-in coil of the probe, generating a stable high-frequency alternating magnetic field on the probe sensing surface. When the metal rotor approaches the magnetic field, closed eddy currents are induced on the rotor surface. The intensity and distribution density of eddy currents change linearly with the gap between the probe and the rotor, synchronously adjusting the equivalent impedance and oscillation amplitude of the probe coil.
3. Technical Features
2. Industrial-grade High-precision Measurement: With standard 8mm monitoring specification, rated sensitivity of 7.87V/mm (200mV/mil) and standard linear range of 2mm, it achieves extremely low full-scale linear error and accurately captures micron-level vibration and displacement changes of rotors, fully meeting API 670 industrial high-precision monitoring specifications.
3. Non-contact Loss-free Long-term Monitoring: Based on the eddy current induction principle, it realizes non-contact measurement with no physical friction or mechanical loss between the probe and high-speed rotating rotors. It supports long-term stable monitoring of unit shaft dynamic parameters, greatly reducing equipment maintenance frequency and shutdown losses for extended service life.
4. Strong Adaptability to Harsh Working Conditions: Made of industrial-grade high-temperature-resistant and anti-aging engineering materials with a wide operating temperature range, the probe and cable are resistant to oil, moisture, corrosion and dust. They can stably withstand long-term complex harsh conditions such as high temperature, vibration and strong electromagnetic interference around units, adapting to all-weather continuous operation.
5. Standardized Universal Adaptive Design: Equipped with original Mini ClickLoc self-locking quick connector, 1.0-meter standard triaxial shielded cable and M12×1 standard metric thread, it features firm installation, convenient wiring and simple configuration. It is seamlessly compatible with all 3300 XL series proximitors and monitoring systems with strong universality.
