The ABB EL3020 online gas analyzer realizes precise gas component analysis based on combined Non-Dispersive Infrared Absorption Spectroscopy and paramagnetic oxygen detection principles. The device consists of a sampling gas circuit, optical detection modules, signal processing unit, intelligent control unit and communication output unit. After pretreatment including dust removal, dehydration, pressure stabilization and flow regulation, process sampling gas flows evenly into the internal detection cell of the analyzer.
The infrared detection module emits infrared light of specific wavelengths targeting characteristic infrared absorption bands of CO, CO₂, CH₄ and other gases. Gas components absorb infrared energy proportionally to their concentration; the detector receives transmitted light and completes photoelectric signal conversion. Built-in algorithms calculate real-time gas concentrations accordingly. The paramagnetic oxygen module precisely measures process oxygen content by leveraging the paramagnetic physical property of oxygen. The two modules operate synchronously without mutual interference.
The analyzer runs full-process intelligent self-inspection and automatic calibration, correcting measurement deviations induced by temperature, pressure and ambient conditions in real time while filtering interference data to guarantee measurement accuracy. Finally, analyzed gas concentration data are uploaded to automation control systems via analog signals and fieldbus communication, alongside fault monitoring, alarm indication and data storage. This achieves round-the-clock automatic high-precision online monitoring of industrial process gases.
