I. Overview


Schneider 140HLI34000 is a high-speed latching / interrupt input module. It is positioned as a high-speed discrete signal acquisition unit for industrial automation systems, specially designed for highly time-sensitive I/O applications. It captures millisecond-level rapid signal changes and triggers asynchronous interrupt processing, serving as a key component for precision timing control and fast event response.

The module integrates 16 independently configurable 24VDC high-speed isolated input channels. Each channel can be set to sinking / sourcing input mode, with high-speed input as the default. It supports three operating modes: high-speed input, latching input and interrupt input, which can be configured channel by channel via programming software.


It features ultra-fast response: OFF-ON response time is 130μs, and ON-OFF response time is 30μs. It supports asynchronous CPU data update, breaking the limit of conventional I/O scan cycle and ensuring real-time processing of high-frequency events.
Adopting industrial-grade isolation design, it provides 500V AC isolation between channels for 60 seconds, with built-in 30V reverse polarity protection. The operating temperature ranges from 0℃ to 60℃, suitable for harsh industrial environments. It only supports local backplane configuration, and is widely used in high-speed production lines, precision machining, safety interlock and other scenarios requiring fast signal capture and real-time response.
