Schneider 140HLI34000
I. Overview
The module integrates 16 independently configurable 24VDC high-speed isolated input channels. Each channel can be set to sinking / sourcing input mode, with high-speed input as the default. It supports three operating modes: high-speed input, latching input and interrupt input, which can be configured channel by channel via programming software.

III. Technical Features
Each input channel can be independently set to sinking or sourcing mode to adapt to different types of field sensors and proximity switches. It supports three working modes: high-speed, latching and interrupt, which can be flexibly configured channel by channel through Unity Pro software to meet multi-scenario signal acquisition demands.
500V AC isolation between channels for 60 seconds effectively suppresses crosstalk of interference signals. Built-in 30V reverse polarity protection prevents module damage caused by incorrect wiring or abnormal voltage, adapting to industrial sites with strong electromagnetic interference and large voltage fluctuation.
IV. Application Scenarios
1. High-speed Manufacturing
Applied to high-speed automated production lines such as automotive manufacturing, electronic processing and packaging machinery. It collects high-speed pulse signals from photoelectric sensors, proximity switches and encoders to realize precise positioning, high-speed counting and production line synchronous control. Through interrupt function, it responds quickly to abnormal events such as material jamming and material shortage, triggering shutdown or alarm in time to ensure efficient and stable operation of production lines.
2. Precision Machining & Equipment Control
Used in precision equipment such as CNC machine tools, laser processing and automated assembly. It captures transient signals such as tool in-position, workpiece clamping and positioning trigger to realize micron-level timing control. The latching function records transient signal status to avoid signal loss during high-speed movement, improving machining accuracy and equipment reliability.
3. Safety Interlock & Emergency Control
Suitable for safety control systems in high-risk industries including chemical, power and metallurgy. It collects safety signals such as emergency stop buttons, safety doors and pressure/temperature over-limit. The interrupt function prioritizes triggering safety interlock procedures to cut off power and close valves rapidly, preventing safety accidents and protecting personnel and equipment safety.
